Native Trees:

This is one of the many species of spruce that include the white, green, colorado, and the colorado blue spruce. This tree is native all the way to the Rockies.

The Lodgepole Pine, or the twisted pine or shore pine, is more commonly found in Western North America, and is found near ocean shores as well. 

The quaking aspen is a type of deciduous tree indigenous to the cooler regions of western North America. The quaking aspen tree has many different names, including the trembling aspen, mountain aspen, and golden aspen.

This tree is indigenous to the mountains of western North America, growing in elevations of 3,000 to 11,000 feet above sea level. 

This tree belongs to the evergreen species that is indigenous to western North America. It is one of the most dominant types of trees found in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Native Flowers:

The Pasque Flower is one of the earliest flowers to wake up in springtime, and bears lovely purple blooms and silvery foliage. It will establish a colony of flowers if you let it reseed over multiple seasons.

This is a very tough plant, and bears loads of purple-neon flowers throughout the summertime. It grows to be 18-36 inches tall.

The Prickly Pear Cactus blooms near late spring with its yellow or pink flowers. It grows to be 15 inches tall and is a hardy, drought-tolerant flower.

The Yucca offers beautiful blue-green foliage and striking architectural texture. White flowers bloom in summer. It does well in light shade and is rabbit resistant as well.

The Fescue is the perfect grass for adding cool color to your landscape. This plan has large, long, leaf blades, giving it a graceful effect.
